Cannon Smoke Bloody Mary: A Recipe
Behind every quality Bloody Mary, there are three parts to master: the ingredients, the method, and the garnishes.
The Ingredients. A traditional Bloody Mary includes tomato juice, lemon juice, salt and pepper, and maybe a kick of spice with Tabasco sauce or horseradish. Some enjoy a smokier take and add Worcestershire or liquid smoke. Our secret? House-smoked tomatoes.
The Method. After you add your favorite Bloody Mary ingredients, we suggest a good shake. Our favorite method? Enjoy with friends.
The Garnishes. These days, you’re used to seeing over-the-top garnishes hang out on or above the rims of your Bloody we’ve even seen an entire skewered cheeseburger adorn the rim of a super sassy Bloody—yum! We like to keep things interesting, but simple. We use one celery stalk, one okra, a pickle, an olive and a lime wheel.
Cannon Smoke Bloody Mary Recipe
- 3 oz UV Vodka
- 5 oz smoked tomatoes, puréed
- 4 oz Bloody Mary mix
- 2 tsp Sea salt
- 2 Lime wheels
- 2 Celery stalks
- 2 Pickles
- 2 Okras
- 2 Olives
- 2 Bloody Mary skewers
Pour vodka, puréed tomatoes and Bloody Mary mix into your shaker. Plop the top on your shaker and go to town—no mercy.
Dip the rim of your glasses into water, then salt, then fill each glass to the brim with ice. Skewer your pickle, okra and olive. We have a healthy obsession with shrimp and love adding the crustacean to our skewer!
Pour the contents of your shaker over the ice, and dress your Bloody Mary by adding a celery stalk and skewer of goodies into each glass. And finally, add a lime wheel to each rim.
